Premier League outfit Burnley have secured the services of highly-rated youngster Nathaniel Chalobah on loan January.

The 19-year-old has been sent out on various loan deals, notably to Watford, Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forest recently.

The versatile midfielder can operate also in the centre of defence, a big boon for the Clarets. He is the eighth signing of the club’s transfer window.

There had been earlier reports that Burnley were interested in want-away Manchester United midfielder Anderson.
Chalobah was born in Sierra Leone, but has been a feature of the England youth set-up from the U16s up to the U21s.

The midfielder expressed his delight at the move via his Twitter account: “Pleased to join @BurnleyOfficial on loan. Looking forward to meeting my new teammates after international duty.”
