West Ham United striker Diafra Sakho is optimistic after revealing nasty scar left following surgery on thigh injury sustained last month.
The 25-year-old Senegal international took to Instagram to show the scar left from the surgery he underwent on December 5.
Sakho limped off against West Bromwich Albion, in attempt to take a shot. However, the 25-year-old is now looking forward to the next stage of his three-month rehabilitation.
“After 10 days I can start with the next step in rehab!! Happy to start working and give it my best!! #100% #COYI #inshallah.” Sakho wrote on his Instagram.
It is a blow to the Hammers who are struggling for goals in recent matches and could do with the five goals he provided in his 14 appearances so far this season.
