Everton confirm Bolasie capture

Democratic Republic of Congo winger Yannick Bolasie is a blue after completing his move from Crystal Palace to Merseyside club Everton.

Everton confirmed the capture of Bolasie on a a five-year contract on Tuesday after the player underwent a successful medical.

He has been on the radar of Ronald Koeman for a long time and the Congolese international, who scored his first Premier League goal at Goodison two seasons ago, is “ready and up for the challenge.
“I’m looking forward to putting on the Everton shirt,” Bolasie told evertontv. “This is a big club and I know all about it from having played against them over the years.

“For me, it was a no-brainer to come here. But now that I’ve come to Everton, the job is not done. I’ve got to work hard and feel my way in. I’m ready and up for the challenge.”

Bolasie made 133 appearances for Palace, scoring 12 goals. He joined the London club from Bristol City 2012.
