Granada target Partey loan signing
Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey is a January transfer target for struggling Spanish top-flight side Granada CF.
Granada are looking for options to strengthen their team in the winter following a lackadaisical campaign thus far. The Nazaríes have not set convincing signs that they will stay in the first division as they find themselves in relegation zone after 17 games, barely a point adrift off safety.
According to reports in Spain, Granada have made Partey, a player regarded as one of the hottest midfield prospects in Europe, their main transfer target to help the club steer away from relegation.
Partey on the other hand is not a neophyte to loan spells. He has been farmed out on two occasions to bolster Mallorca and Almeria last season scoring four goals from defensive midfield.
The former Odometah player is currently enjoying a stellar campaign with his parent club after recovering from injury that kept him out of action earlier in the season. Although he is yet to start a league game, Partey has been involved in a goal in the 97 minutes spent on the field.
