Mane hits stunner as Liverpool edge Arsenal

Sadio Mane scored a thumping finish on his Premier League debut for Liverpool in their hard-fought 4-3 victory over Arsenal in the Engish Premier League.

The Senegalese forward capped an impressive display with a goal which proved crucial in a thrilling opening day contest between Arsenal and Liverpool as the latter claimed full points.

Arsenal opened the scoring first through Theo Walcott but Coutinho equalised with a 30-yard free kick on the stroke of halftime.

The Reds after recess roared into a 4-1 lead with three goals in 18 minutes – with Mane scoring the fourth goal.

Mane twisted and turned past two defenders before crashing a shot into the top corner.
Arsenal fought back strongly and fired in two goals but Liverpool held on to condemn the Gunners to a second successive opening day defeat at the Emirates.

The strong attacking midfielder will be expected to replicate impressive display in subsequent games.
